I need more info and tips on the DIY family and dogs Christmas shoot! I’m sorry you threw out your back with the new shoes! I strained my pelvic floor by trying to kick off my blundstones a few days ago. Note to self to sit and carefully put on(and off) all winter boots. I love the silver earrings you’re wearing in both outfits. Simple but unique shapes.
The pelvic floor strain—OMFG, Caitlin!! I wish I had all the answers! I have a few good years’ worth of Cooperating Pup cards! TY for the kind words—I’m in the market for a silver statement earring that’s just a tiny bit lighter than these! Going to stay on the prowl…
Thank you for taking the time to read! I appreciate you so much!
lol i am cackling...i literally can't wear my tall boots unless i know my husband will be around to help me take them off. like how do we do these things to ourselves?! love all of the weekly outfits - you wear such variety every week, it inspires me. as a work from home girl i easily get in a rut wearing the same outfits!
Like do I need a boot jack?!? This is a fashion emergency! Thank you for the kind words!! It was such a FUN week of variety! I think that's why I struggle nailing down a singular aesthetic -- I am a: wake up and who do I want to be today - kinda girlie! I appreciate you, Austin! xx
The boots at the OBGYN. IM CACKLING. I recently listened to a founder interview (of course I did) with the guy who started tecovas and it was sooo interesting. Husband purchased a pair of lucchese boots this fall and was on the floor trying to get them off. He ended up buying a boot jack 🤣
I love outfit #3. I love a s’more. I love a successful holiday card adventure.
LOL, like what are the chances? I wish I actually kept an organized planner and could prepare for these types of events! I really think I need the boot jack, lol. For now, the Four-Shirted Husband will be called in for his services! Thank you for the kind words—you are the best supporter ever, Christina!! xx
A riotously fun post Traci!! Hope your back is better! I feel your pain - not from a single incident, but from fully knowing better and still trying on knee-high boots without socks. It’s always a sticky, sucky mess! 🤣
Jenny!! You’re the best. Thanks so much for reading 🫶🏻I’m so grateful to have connected with you on SS this year! Cracking up about the boots w/ socks! Beauty is painnnmn!!
I love love love the boots, and your story of their debut is beyond hysterical!! Glad you survived to see another boot-wearing day! I also adore your shirt buttoned all the way up, and the leopard coat!
LOL, Will clearly need a boot jack when the Four-Shirted-Husband has the audacity to go to work. I will confirm: I have not and WILL NOT stop wearing them! TY for reading, Lindsay!!
K I’m a 💯 feminist, but the marines/strong husband thing is a low key flex, I don’t even care 🤣 like yes I CAN do all the things by myself, but help me and make the really hard things look effortless, please and thanks💪🏾
CRACKING UP. I’m with you. I am a feminist until I need my boots removed by a man who has been in war. I can do hard things, UNTIL I need someone to open a jar. Thanks for reading, Nicole!!! xx
Hi Macaroni and Penny!! Just wanna boop them. Also, as a fellow cowgirl boot wearing lady, there is nothing more humbling than getting those bad boys on and off. I love how you styled them with the blazer!!!
I can’t get enough of your 54321 posts! It’s such a great format that feeds all these different parts of my brain. I love your Tecovas boots story so much, and honestly they are worth minor back injury that may require physical therapy bc they do look that good. I could 1000% see that exact same thing happening to me, including the over explaining. I in fact did have a pair of campus Frye boots like 15 years ago that definitely helped one of my discs herniate. They also looked great but never broke in so I donated them to my sister who never wore them.
I feel like we should have had an entire text discussion about your leopard print furry cardi and how amazing it is, so I feel a little cheated there, but how do you not wear that everyday?
Something else I had to laugh at is that your mom requested you do not get her a candle. My mom is anti candle and keeps buying me flameless ones bc she cannot stand the idea that I do something as wild as burn actual candles at home (and I leave them on my stove! I tried wax warmers but let’s just say that there is a wall behind a chest in my dining room covered in wax bc I still can’t have nice things). There were twenty other things I wanted to comment on but I forgot! I wish I could see the post while I type this argggg. Anyway loved this and already excited for the next one! I look forward to them every week.
Danielle! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 thank you so much! Especially at this time of year our brains can only handle so much 🤣. Imagine I go to PT & the therapist says, “so what happened?”
Donated to my sister who never worn them 🤣😭
Re: the leopard- isn’t it funny I thought it was the most meh look of the week!? My mom is anti candle and I am very PRO candle — I would be very ANTI flameless candle!!!🤣
This comment wins the post — I’m laughing so hard rn lol.
Ouch! Sometimes fashion is pain… and sometimes just ageing is pain 🫠 I threw my back out by sneezing when I was leaning over the sink brushing my teeth. Always ALWAYS brace before a sneeze.
SOPHIE!!! I love seeing you in this neck of the SS woods! SNEEZING!!!! Why is there no manual for protecting your back as you get older?? 🤣🤣 Thanks so much for reading, my friend!
Please, help. I live in a state (Colorado) where people wear cowboy boots, because they work with…cows. I’ve owned several thrifted pairs that feel like instruments of torture. Not to mention they’ll kill you on ice. Have lusted after Tecovas. So watching your relationship with your new beauties with interest.
Cracking up!!! I’m wearing them rn as I type them from Suburbia 🤣 they are incredible!! I read a review someone said these are slippery— but I haven’t felt that way!! Thanks so much for reading!!
The snakeskin ones are loose in the calves so they are easy to remove, but I have a knee high suede pair that I refuse to wear unless I know my husband will be available for removal lol
LOL! Thanks so much for coming by, Jaymee! I am wondering if your boots I am obsessed with are easy to remove or not?! I always appreciate you taking the time to laugh & giggle!

A boot jack just made me LOL
LOL... WHYYYY wasn't it on a gift guide!?!?
a boot jack!! omg i’m dying. I love that, style doesn’t have to be one aesthetic - I am very much the same! xx
BEAUTY IS PAIN 😅😅😅
Have to say, I was braced for a MUCH worse OBGYN situation but maybe my friends are just mental 😆
Anna — if only I could tell all the stories without fear of being fired or my kids Googling me years from now in pure mortification.

PS: S’MORES > everything.
You're so much braver than I am wearing those boots to the DR, but I admire that. Your comment is something I'd have also said 🤣🤣🤣.
Love the photo of your pup and im sure the others turned out funny and adorable!
Obsessed with your western looks 😍. I was at the Boot Barn today and thought of you! My little guy wanted boots and it was the cutest thing ever 😆
The boots are my new personality now!!! They are truly the puppy stars of the show- every.dang.time!!
As they should! You're rocking them 😍😍😍
You killed me with your boots story, but they were definitely worth it - you totally rock them!! Also love your Zara plaid shirt!
LOL! Thank you, Maria!!! Worth it all!

I can’t wait to see all the ways you’ve styled them. Four-Shirted-Husband better watch his back when the boot jack moves in!

Haha well the boots look amazing on you!! And I feel you, every time I pull my snowy Blundstones off, I feel like I’ve misaligned my pelvis 😆🤷🏽♀️
DYING! LOL-- need those pelvic floor muscles like no other!

THEY ARE SO BOOP-ABLE! Thank you so much for the kind words! 2026 Goal: Learn to remove them independently. Thoughts & prayers, pls!

The storytelling here is chef’s kiss, equal parts hilarious and comforting. Also now deeply reconsidering any tight footwear before appointments 😂
Danielle!! Thank you so much for the kind words! I am so glad you came by to read!! Appreciate you beyond words. xx
PS- Next time I'm wearing my fuzzy Birks!

Happy to help 😂
