Spring Fashion Trends: Part 1 – Color Trends
Here's what I'm loving and side-eyeing this Spring
My Favorite Spring Trends 2025
I love trends. I love when things from my past make a comeback (except low-rise jeans and a few other disasters I’ll mention at the end of this post) and suddenly become relevant again. For Spring 2025, there are some really fun, classic, and timeless trends. I did a deep dive into what’s in and how I can incorporate these styles into my wardrobe—without completely overhauling my closet every season.
Which, of course, is a real problem for my husband, who has to lug my clothing containers in and out of storage every few months.
So, let’s take a look at the Spring 2025 trends I’m excited to try—and how I plan on styling them.
Colors & Patterns
Butter Yellow is the color of the season. I initially wrote “pale yellow,” but since everyone insists on calling it "butter," I figured I’d go with the trend. It pairs beautifully with chocolate brown and gray.
Pastels (as always)—Spring wouldn’t be spring without them. This year, pale pink is making a big comeback, often paired with an unexpected color like burgundy.
Sage Green (or pistachio) is another pastel shade that’s trending. It’s a fresh and versatile color that will be everywhere this season.
Leopard print is here to stay. I’m still mad I tossed all my leopard pieces a few years ago, but at least I know they’ll be sticking around this time. Look for leopard in shoes, accessories (like scarves), and subtle prints in outfits.
