I go full athleisure for our weeks at the beach, with maybe some jeans or cut offs and a button down thrown in for when I want to look presentable. I appreciate the sartorial break when so much of my life and work are about being DRESSED.

Also married to a guy who goes straight into jeans upon waking up, I’ll never understand it. He will only wear shorts in the form of a bathing suit and only if he actually plans on going in the water. Back in the day he used to go for a run around the HS track in jeans! Red flags but I’ll keep him! 😆

I am someone that loves to put jeans on first thing in the morning. I think it’s because I actually need to put a bra on, and then I just need to feel like I’m all the way dressed, even if I’m going to shower later.
I was cracking up at beige flag! My partner has 3 pairs of black jeans, all Madewell. I'm like, can you branch out a bit? And yes he has no home clothes, just jeans. I loved the utility pants look with frilly top! I may try to recreate that, I have a few Doen-esque tops from JCREW heading my way soon.

NGL a prolonged period of time where athleisure is the appropriate dress code sounds like exposure therapy for me 😅 but it looks like you guys had an amazing time and made great memories, and that’s really the important part.
My non-shoppable joys of the week would be going to the pool with my friends and their kids—I love seeing our kids playing together, and of course catching up together, and swimming (water’s just the best). Maybe swimsuits are my equivalent to your Adidas shorts and tank tops!

The number of times I ask the four-shirted husband, “Is that comfortable??” is honestly more than I care to admit.
