The Snapple facts is such a specific 90's memory. Also cannot beat the laffy taffy jokes.

Traci Landy's avatar

YES. Laffy Taffy jokes = truly the height of comedy when you were 10. We really didn’t need much.

Jaymee Geelan's avatar

Also jokes on popsicle sticks !

HOW COULD I FORGET!?!

You are in good company. I'm today years old when I realised that I've been pronouncing Ina wrongly. And this is with watching Food Network at 3am post-parties as a young adult 😅🤣 OK maybe that's why. Love the fused Pokémon beads for summer activities!

Traci Landy's avatar

You always make me feel less alone, Elaine!!!!

Awe The Great Fall! We all have one! I am still recovering from a beautiful fall in Europe in front of everybody! Tell your daughter, I will gladly buy one of those Pokémon thingies for my son and of course for the whales!

Love your outfits the red and white striped dress killer! Have a great week Traci!

Traci Landy's avatar

It reminds me of that song, “I get knocked down, but I get up again!” 🤣💙 TY, Tam!!!

I just love your posts. They make me so happy!

Consider my job here done then. 💓💓💓

Omg Snapple iced teas felt like such an American delicacy when I was growing up! And the cap nuggets of wisdom, ahh the nostalgia ❤️

Traci Landy's avatar

YES!!! And Snapple Apple is so lowkey gross to me now. To be young and full of high fructose corn syrup! 🤣

This is all brilliant and kinda shocked you don’t own a cricut yet? (Or do you!?) Danny wants one. Also, you make me want to dress more feminine. What is happening to me? You wear those pretty clothes with such ease!

Traci Landy's avatar

I want a Cricut so badly, but it feels too complicated for me. I don’t handle multi step directions well for obvious reasons. TY for the love!!

Summer pasta, my obsession!!! Your daughter ‘s lessons, love them! Outfits and that new bag beautiful and I wand that bag!!

kind of obsessed with the boat kin!!!

Right??? I stuck my nose up at it last year & then I said if you can’t beat ‘em join ‘em! No regrets! Xx

I like to do what I call a hard reboot if things are going well. Sometimes it’s going to bed early and saying “well we will try again tomorrow!” or taking a nap just to create a circuit breaker in whatever perceived black cloud is following me. I literally imagine rebooting like my Apple phone and it does a great job of reframing and it has a great success rate in making the following moments & days so much better!

Traci Landy's avatar

That is the perfect terminology for it! SO WISE!

Can't beat a summer craft session, and I love the new bag!!

Traci Landy's avatar

My dining room table is 100% a craft factory. Tysm, love!

Ina rhymes with...CAN'T TYPE IT (Gen X reporting in)

Okay, so Grapeade was like my favorite Snapple drink ever. I would kill for a Grapeade.

My second son was a social screamer, which I have now determined is really just an empath. The boy reads people and absorbs their feelings. I'm trying to channel this into Stand-Up Comedy for him. Stay tuned.

What is a family vacation without Dark Thoughts? I just came back from ten days with my immediate and extended family. So. Many. Dark. Thoughts.

Nina P.'s avatar

Also I can't have Dots Honey Mustard in the house. I could win a Dots Honey Mustard Pretzel Eating Contest.

Traci Landy's avatar

SAME! Even after a while it starts to burn my tongue and I simply. cannot. stop. Thoughts on cinnamon sugar?

Nina P.'s avatar

Dislike Cinnamon Sugar!

I love the burn (see also: Salt and Vinegar potato chips)

What about Maui Monk Pretzels?

Traci Landy's avatar

I could eat salt & vinegar flavored everything. It’s a disease. I have never heard of nor tried!!!

Traci Landy's avatar

Gen X-ers are my favorite. I am your son & your son is me. I might take on social screaming at work… Because people be trying me. And yes to all the darkness lol.

I’ll be adding Ina’s pasta to the list this week! Also I’m afraid to ask but dying to know…were you pronouncing her name like “eee-na?”

Traci Landy's avatar

😳 YES. I’m new to cooking. Give me grace pls

Your Fuse beading discovery is speaking to my little ones’ fav things: pokémon + Knicks!! Prob a silly question, but as someone who has never beaded like that before, how did you know how to make the designs?

Traci Landy's avatar

Excellent question! I use this website (https://kandipad.com) and print the template I want to use. Sometimes I put it under the clear grid & other times I just do it by sight!!!

LB's avatar

Thank you!! 💙🧡

LB's avatar

Thank you!! 💙🧡

PS- let’s go Knicks!!!!

Connie Murray's avatar

Here for “little white top summer” à la outfit number 1!

Traci Landy's avatar

TYSM! I think she’s going 3 summers strong now!!

Connie Murray's avatar

She’s an icon!

B L's avatar

If you don’t dress all summer, what are you walking around in? Is the difference between “dressing” and “not dressing” 1)tucking in the top, and/or 2)accessories?

Traci Landy's avatar

An XL cotton tank & basketball shorts. I guess still “dressed” in some capacity. Technically not in the nude all summer.
